Adidas Future Craft 4D

The adidas Futurecraft 4D In Ash Green Will Release On January 18th

Adidas finally decided to release the shoe of the future, this 4D printed shoe has long been awaited, Adidas gave us a mere tease last April, 2017. Only 300 copies of this sexy shoe were released to friends and family for corporate employees, needless to say that some took the opportunity and resold them, the average resale price was ~3,000 dollars. The marketing behind this amazing shoe was incredible, this shoe has been marketed years before the first tease release. Once this shoe appeared in the market secretly it was given the nickname "the shoe of the future" no one had never seen something like it before, the subtle marketing behind it wasn't subtle at all once everyone started talking about it, its uniqueness, sleekness, and comfort. While this shoe looks stunning What makes it even better is the technology behind it. This shoe is what Adidas talks about in their value propersition on reducing waste, this shoe's midsole is created by using light and oxygen!
The huge drop wasn't as huge as everyone was expecting, this release trending in many twitter and instagram post was getting so hyped! What do I mean by it wasn't as huge as everyone thought? Only 3 online stores and one store in New York were privileged enough to sell this shoe at an MSRP of 300 dollars on Jan.18.2018! The demand for this shoe was so huge that these stores held online raffles to give every individual who was interested a fair chance of getting it. One specific tweet commented how these shoes were so limited that no runner will even have a chance to own a pair, they are all going to go to sneaker-heads. If I was the Marketing Manager for Adidas Futurecraft, I would have done a more aggressive marketing strategy, and postpone the release date by a couple of months, bringing out not just one color way but two color ways, and releasing in major stores such as San Fransisco, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, etc..
When searching Futurecraft 4D on Twitter, and Instagram we get many articles and post marketing the shoe's release date, and links to the sign up sheets for all the different raffles for a chance to buy this shoe.
